Nanotest was founded in 2004 by scientists and engineers originating from the Micro Materials Center of Fraunhofer in Berlin. The company developed from material characterization into a specialist for thermal management, Thermal Interface Material Analyzers, Thermal Test Vehicles and thermography-based failure analysis.

Today, Nanotest operates from its Berlin headquarters with laboratory, production and office facilities and provides measurement systems, custom thermal test vehicles and analysis services to customers worldwide.

budatec was founded in 2009 by a team with roots in semiconductor automation and vacuum soldering technology dating back to the early 1990s. The company develops and manufactures vacuum soldering systems, inline equipment, pressure-sintering systems and application-specific tooling in Berlin.

The portfolio supports both process development and production, with configurable atmospheres, vacuum technology, plasma options, automated handling and servo-electric pressure control.
